Fire Maples Wifi Adaptor is a handy gadget that allows you to attach your screw-on gas stove to any aerosol gas canister. Useful for treks in new areas when you don't know is screw-on gas canisters will be available.

Fire Maple says:

Designed for connecting with butane gas canister. Features three foldable stainless steel legs which can hold stove and pot safely

Fire Maple's Wifi Adaptor has nothing to do with the internet and wont give you internet access...sadly. But it does allow you to attach a screw-on gas stove to an aerosol gas canister which you can find in almost any outdoor store in the world. This is handy when travelling in area's new to you, where screw-on gas canisters could be hard to come by. This handy gadget allows you to be prepared.

Obviously aerosol gas canisters aren't as compact but for treks when you don't know what gas will be available it could just as well be a life saver. Plus they are cheaper to run too!

First impressions: heavy!

Cheaper than a second stove, but no lighter. What seems like a neat trick to ensure you can resupply at the smallest of European hamlets where only valve type cans might be available is actually more about money saving than weight saving. The 100+g rating is no joke, this is an incredibly solid and not-so-little little add-on. I'm sure I could find a second stove for less weight, or just carry extra fuel instead of the adapter. It'll be handy for me in my camper van, but I'm not sure it will ever make it into a hiking pack. Will post again once it has had some field use.
