Primus's Lite XL All in One stove combines a super ceramic non stick coating with heat exchanger and close couple technology for a very efficient system.
The Lite family is growing with a new capable version featuring a 1-litre pot, big enough to cook real food for up to two people.
Other significant benefits of the Lite family are the unique Triangular Joint Connection (pat. pend), that secures that pot with a twist and the Laminar Flow Burner Technology (pat. pend.), that gives the burner a very low profile.
The 1-litre pot is made of hard-anodized aluminium pot with ceramic non- stick coating. The transparent Tritan lid has an integrated colander.
The Burner, pot, plastic bowl, a 100-gram gas cartridge and the footrest simply pack together in a mesh bag into one compact unit. Gas is not included.
Primus' Lite XL stove seems to be on the heavy side for backpacking - there are lighter alternatives, then again though this weight includes a solidly built 1 Litre pot, an eating bowl, gas canister stand and piezo igniter. Add to that the performance characteristics of this stove - minimal gas usage, good performance in wind, excellent and durable non stick coating and it begins to make more sense.
Buy this if you intend to cook rather than just heat water and for longer trips where the efficiency allows you to save weight by not carrying so much gas.
