The Storm Mitt is a new waterproof and synthetic insulated mitt using Porelle fabric and Pyrotec insulation, designed for year round wet-weather use.
A durable 4-season mitt, it features a goat leather palm for added dexterity, thumb reinforcement, a soft bemberg lining and a single hand drawcord cuff closure.
Whether you are practising winter nav or negotiating the peat bogs of Kinder Scout, the Storm Mitt is a reliable choice to see your hands through the winter months.

Rab's Storm Mitt might look a little familiar, as it's a style carried over from the Lowe Alpine Storm Mitt. Why change something that works?
The mitt has a thin fleecy inner with internal finger pockets which offers a high degree of warmth, with a waterproof and breathable insert. Feature-wise they have a soft nose-wipe (which we like!) a one handed adjustable cuff and an extra wrist strap to keep the cold air out. The partial grip panel on the palm make them well-suited to carrying an ice-axe or handling a trekking pole though there's no grip features on the fingers.
The Storm Mitt is perfectly suitable for general hill and mountain activities in all but the most extreme conditions.
