The Montane Prism Dry Line Mitts are lightweight, packable, insulated and waterproof mitts that offer extra protection for those cold, wet days on the hills. Constructed from similar fabrics to the original Prism Mitts, but with an added waterproof lining and it's own unique feature set.

Like our revolutionary Prism Mitt the Prism Dry Line series feature PrimaLoft® GOLD Insulation, a PERTEX® outer, brushed microfleece lining but with the added benefit of FREEFLOW Mantle inner waterproof lining. Our Verdict
The Montane Prism Dry Line Mitts are the next step up from the original Prism Mitts. It uses the same insulation and fabrics, but with the added bonus of a Freeflow Mantle inner waterproof lining for extra protection and it's own unique feature set.
With Primaloft Gold insulation, you know you're getting good quality warmth in a lightweight package. Primaloft is considered to have the best warmth to weight ratio of any synthetic fibre. This has been coupled with soft a microfleece lining that adds to the insulation value without adding much weight and deals with any sweat from your hands. To finish of, it's combination of Pertex outer fabric and Freeflow Mantle inner lining means your hands will be kept dry and comfortable no matter what the weather throws at you.
The Prism Dry Line Mitts feature set is what stands it apart from the original Prims Mitts. Although they don't have a touch screen compatible thumb, they do have silicone printed palms and thumb which allows you to grip poles and other accessories a lot better. The cuffs are also a longer (gauntlet style) offering extra protection and the locking elasticated adjustment allows you to keep the cold out and the heat in.
Because of the lightweight fabrics used, the mitts still pack down incredibly small and stuff into the stuff sack provided so will go unnoticed in your pocket or pack. The perfect packable mitts for any cold, wet conditions where you don't want the bulk or weight that usually comes with mitts like these.
