The Ultra Adventure Hat is a lightweight, breathable and packable hat which offers excellent sun protection thanks to it's UPF50+ sun rating.

Sunday Afternoons says:

Hear that? It’s the call of the wild—don’t forget your Ultra Adventure Hat! The Ultra is updated with a slimmer silhouette and fun technical details like our Clamshell Brim and Sunglass Lock, but still retains the sun protection, ventilation, and moisture management of our iconic Original Adventure Hat. Bring your own shade with you, wherever your adventures lead.

Sunday Afternoons hats offer incredible performance and we don't say that lightly! Sunday Afternoons are committed to designing headgear that protect the wearer from the Sun and they achieve this in spades.

The Ultra Adventure Hat is a high wicking hat with high strength sun protection. It's easy to adjust to the wearers head as it has a tightening strap on the back of the hat. The hat also features a sunglasses lock so you can safely keep your sunglasses on top of the brim without worrying that they will fall off.

We particularly like that the hat is packable. The brim is designed to fold down the centre so it doesn't damage it's shape when stored in your pack or pocket.

Fails and disappointed, cape and brim too small

Do not buy the Ultra I had purchased the Adventure Hat in large but needed the medium. But I instead replaced it with the Ultra Adventure as it has such good reviews. Big Mistake. Although the design and features of the Ultra Adventure are superior to the Adventure, the Ultra fails in the main function of the hat. The back cape is significantly smaller and gives much much less neck protection. The front brim is much shorter also. The Ultra gives significantly less sun protection than the Adventure.
