The Charter Escape Hat is the little brother to the original Charter hat, with a slightly trimmer profile but still with it's classic iconic outback silhouette. Great design and great fit.

Our Verdict
Sunday Afternoons hats offer incredible performance! We don`t say that lightly Sunday Afternoons are committed to designing headgear that protect the wearer from the Sun and they achieve this in spades. The protection they offer is invaluable.
The Charter Escape Hat has a slightly shorter brim to the original Charter Hat but still offers a high amount of sun protection, combined with it's UPF 50+ run rating. Its well-constructed and the brim is wired which means its not crushable but it does have some nice features. l like the tiny internal pocket for those emergency notes etc!
The chin cord is fixed but can be snipped off if desired - the hat size can be fine tuned using the internal strap and so it won`t blow off in any but the strongest winds.
