The Women's Montane VIA Trail Glove offers comfortable and effective protection against wind and light showers thanks to the Cameleon Lite fabric across the back of the hand and fingers. The fabric on the thumb, index and middle finger is also touch screen compatible so you don't need to worry about removing your gloves in cold conditions.

Great wind resistant gloves

Regarding fit, I usually go for a small, and a small in these is perfect. They are easy to put on but a little trickier to get off due to the close fit but that doesn’t really matter because I like a glove that is snug so that I can still do stuff without having to remove them. The inner fleece lining has a nice feel on the skin and the outer fabric has a soft shell material which protects against the wind and light rain. They also wick away sweat quite well so they are a good option for the trail. Definitely my go to glove to on a chilly day in the outdoors.

Good gloves

These gloves fit very nicely (true to size) and are very soft to the skin. The inner part is made of fleece for warmth, and the outer part is more like a softshell fabric, which is water and wind repellent. They have been working well so far and  they are very comfy in lower temperatures (I have tested these in conditions down to freezing temperatures). The only thing that is a little bothersome is the stitching/label. You can feel the stitching at the end of your fingertips, which does not feel very soft or smooth. Also the label at the wrist sticks out a lot and can only be cut a little shorter, but the bulky stitching and remains of the label is rubbing against the wrist. These gloves would be perfect if not for this little annoyance. Still, I am very satisfied with this purchase and I will be using these gloves on all my colder hikes!
