The Highcamp is a solid performer ready for the worst weather. With improved insulation making them even warmer, the waterproof lining and inner glove give you versatility while the leather palms and hard wearing outer give you durability.
Outdoor Research says:
Classic overcuff high mountain armor now infused with VerticalX™ insulation technology for added loft and warmth.
The Highcamp Collection has always been celebrated for its dependable warmth and unwavering weatherproofness - and now we're adding a little something extra to cheer about: VerticalX™ technology, the high-loft synthetic insulation with a superior warmth-to-weight ratio, breathability, and moisture management. Highcamp Gloves and Mitts with VerticalX™ perform better in the high alpine while still packing in all of your favorite features of this acclaimed collection. Touchscreen compatible liners still intact, with the same waterproof, windproof Ventia™ exterior shell, the Highcamps will outperform your other handwear options when conditions are substandard but the stoke is high.

Outdoor Research's Highcamp Gloves are a classic mountain glove. With solid waterproofing, high levels of insulation and a tough leather palm they are hard wearing and functional when you need them most. The Ventia waterproof lining is in the outer glove to give you maximum coverage and the dual cinch across the wrist and at the cuff make this even better. OR have improved the insulation in the Highcamp by adding VerticalX material and it shows. These are really warm and super practical for rough winter weather.
The inner liner is fleece lined and warm but the main benefits come in the form of the touch screen compatibility and silicon grip across the palm. In biting wind and cold you can still access and use your smart phone or GPS without exposing your skin to the elements. These liners are much better than many others for using touch screen devices as they are thin and highly dexterous.
