Rab's offering for serious winter conditions. The Blizzard Gloves give you waterproof protection and high levels of insulation from the thick pile style Pyrotec insulation. Tough and durable, these gloves are ready for a winter challenge.
Rab says: Porelle® waterproof and insulated glove with leather palm.
The Blizzard Glove is designed to handle the harshest conditions, providing high levels of warmth and waterproofing with excellent grip.
When faced with rain, snow and ice, it's imperative you keep your hands warm. The Blizzard Glove combines a robust, ripstop Nylon outer shell with a Porelle® Dry waterproof insert to ensure your hands stay warm and dry in cold, wet conditions.
The Blizzard Glove is pre-curved, giving it a natural, precise fit and excellent grip. Insulated with Pyrotec™ fabric the glove's drawcord cuff closure and wrist straps allow you to trap heat in - keeping the rain, snow and ice out. As the temperatures fall, this glove can be paired with a liner for ultimate warmth.

Rab's 2018 Blizzard Gloves are built for seriously challenging conditions. With Porelle Dry waterproof inserts they can easily keep out the rain and snow you'll encounter. The thick pile inside is Pyrotec insulation which provides a really good level of warmth. It takes a bit of getting used to as it's an interesting feel but I've become a big fan of them after just a few outings. The elasticated wrist and cinch cuff help protect you further from the elements.
They have reinforced leather across the palm which gives you plenty of grip with added durability where you need it. After multiple uses with ropes they haven't shown any sign of wear. The finger loops make removing them easier and you can hang them upside down when not wearing them to stop snow and rain getting in. A little addition that I can't do without in winter is the soft nose-wipe fabric on the thumbs which makes these a little bit more usable.
