Klymit's Inertia O-Zone mat puts inflatable support where you need it combined with very low weight and pack size, especially considering it has an integrated pillow.
A smart pad that combines our comfort technologies with our weight saving innovations, the Inertia O Zone is light, compact and supportive. It weighs only 12.2 ounces, yet is fully loaded – integrated four-inch pillow, width to toss and turn, and our patent-pending Loft Pocket Technology that helps maximize your sleeping bag’s thermal effectiveness while minimizing the pad’s weight. Ideal for bike tours and ultralight backpacking, it’s comfortable, easy to inflate, and packs down to the size and weight of a can of soda.
Klymit's Inertia O Zone is a step up from their X-Lite and X-Frame pads which aren't the most comfortable sleeping pads in the world - although they have awesome low weight and packed sizes. The Inertia O-Zone is an attempt to address the comfort issue without compromising too much the other advantages of Klymit mats - it does this to some degree and offers a really good ultralight option.
Weight and packed size are still very good, especially when you factor in the integrated pillow. Like the X series the O-Zone can be used either inside or outside the sleeping bag - both options work well though with the pillow inside the bag it limits the use of the hood somewhat.
The O-Zone is still not as comfortable as other inflatable airbeds but we like it.

Body Mapping: With a neutral body map this pad is designed to comfortably support all the places your body touches a sleeping surface. The remaining areas are removed to minimise weight, allow for breathability and enhance warmth.
Self Centered Pillow: The built in X Shaped pillow cradles and centers the head to both increase comfort and keep your head from rolling off during the night. This reduces stress on your neck and pressure on the ear.
Loft Pocket Technology: Whether inside or outside your sleeping bag the loft pockets allow the insulation of your bag to retain loft beneath you. This technology allows the pad to be warmer and more breathable. Simply put, your pad is rated to the same temperature as the sleeping bag you are using.
