The highly successful Nemo Womens Riff 30 Sleeping Bag has been updated for 2020 with new fabrics at a lighter weight. It retains the comfortable and spacious 'spoon' shape so it is still wider at the elbows and knees, meaning you can toss and turn as much as you want, without the bag restricting you.
The main updates have seen the design streamlined to shed weight, without losing the spoon shape and the benefits from it. Despite using less down in terms of weight, the comfort limit of the bag has stayed the same meaning that the overall weight has been further reduced. The zipper system has also been improved to make access easier.
Nemo have kept the innovative Thermo Gills which are shown by the 2 slits down the center of the bag. They unzip to let warm air out if you get too hot at night, allowing you to vent body heat without letting cold drafts in and they work really well, especially in changeable conditions. They have also increased the bags water resistance with waterproof footbox and hood and further DWR treatments on the other fabrics.
Another feature it has that is quite unique to Nemo bags, is the Blanket Fold. Like a comforter at home, the blanket fold gives some extra material to snuggle around your face and helps to control temperature. The Forte bags are still able to zip together with the mens bags if that is something that you want in your bag.
