The rectangular shape of the quilt makes it very spacious. An excellent feature is the water proof coating on the foot box and hood areas where the bag is most likely to get wet.
The included slip cover for your mat is very soft and easily washed and has a pillow insert and poppers to attach to the quilt. This can be left behind to save weight at the expense of comfort. I tried the cover with a rectangular and mummy shaped mat and they fit fine and the the slight gaps were barely noticeable when rolling over the middle. It would still be best to use 2 rectangular mats if possible.
The 650 fill power down is responsibly sourced and the 20 denier ripstop outer with 40 denier on the footbox makes the Tango Duo Slim durable.
