OMM say: The bag is made from a combination of materials to ensure maximum performance. The Purist bag for the Minimalist, The shell is made from Pertex Quantum, It has a DWR treatment to the fabrics face to give it a degree of water repellency and also extra stain resistance. The synthetic insulation is Primaloft to give the best warmth to weight ratio available on the market, we have used different weights per panel to ensure the best technical usage of the fill. The base sheet is filled with Primaloft 60g, we then put the Primaloft 100g on the top sheet. The footbox is also shaped and filled with Primaloft 100g to keep the feet warm. The construction is also considered as we have a loose laid outer shell and the inner stitched through to the insulation again this is to maximise insulative value and eliminate cold spots.

Primaloft uses a unique microfibre structure which is specially treated to create a core with similar physical and thermal properties to down meaning you will be well insulated against the cold. It's compressible, breathable and has excellent water repellency so you remain dry, warm and comfortable even under the most extreme conditions.

Remarkably low pack size for a synthetic sleeping bag and amazingly low weight. Primaloft is the leading synthetic insulation in the outdoor world and its use guarantees you are getting the maximum insulation value for the minimum synthetic weight. There are no warmth ratings for this bag but we reckon its a summer/possibly 2 season bag if you bulk it up with clothing.

Down bags are of course warmer for a given weight but some people prefer the synthetic bags because of their durability and wet weather performance.

Curiously the bag only has a single sided zipper on the outside - so it can be tricky to unzip it from the inside. Could it be a mistake?

Omm raid 1.6

You get what you should expect with this bag no compromise small pack size and low weight that's why you buy it. No one wants to put a figure on the rating for this bag but I was OK just at dry 0degc with a thin Base Layer top and bottom and socks and a thin jacket. I normally sleep warm and am benchmarking it against the ME hyperlamina spark. Which is comfort rated to 0degc and is much warmer in comparison but much bigger and heavier. Also worth mentioning I am 5'10 there was very little spare room top and bottom and I'm quite round about 36waist and there wasn't a lot of spare width. If you are bigger in either dimension be warned you may not fit.
