The aim with the Mountain Raid was to design the bag which you would want to use when running on the OMM or other events/activities where weight vs. performance was critical. We wanted it to be warm enough for practical use lightweight have good performance and be compact.
It is the purist bag for the minimalist with Primaloft PL1 and Pertex Quantum a winners combination. The bag weighs 400g and stuff`s down to the size of a Grapefruit combining loose laid Pertex Quantum over 60g Primaloft synthetic insulation on top and 40g Primaloft synthetic insulation on the bottom it features a full foot box with external hangtags to dry/air and has a cowled hood to keep your head warm with a offset 1/4 zip with again a P1 insulated baffle to protect against cold.
The bag also doubles up as a safety/emergency bag to carry with you at all times on the Mountains and in the Wilderness.
Primaloft uses a unique microfibre structure which is specially treated to create a core with similar physical and thermal properties to down meaning you will be well insulated against the cold. It's compressible, breathable and has excellent water repellency so you remain dry, warm and comfortable even under the most extreme conditions.

Remarkably low pack size for a synthetic sleeping bag and amazingly low weight. Strictly a summer bag but you can always extend its use by wearing clothes during colder seasons.
Primaloft is the leading synthetic insulation in the outdoor world and its use guarantees you are getting the maximum insulation value for the minimum synthetic weight.
Down bags are of course warmer for a given weight but some people prefer the synthetic bags because of their durability and wet weather performance.
Curiously the bag only has a single sided zipper on the outside - so it can be tricky to unzip it from the inside. Could it be a mistake?
