Marmot's Paiju -5 Down Sleeping Bag is designed to take on the harsh conditions you'd expect to encounter in the winter. From the huge 1170g worth of 800+ Fill Power Down to the specially selected, weather resistant outer fabric, right through to the waterproof thread on the seams the Paiju is ready for the worst. It doesn't pack down to a tiny size but when you get in the bag you appreciate why. It quickly allows the down to loft and is a warmer and more comfortable for it.

You can cinch the draught collar and hood to hide inside the bag and escape from the cold conditions. The durable 20D Quantum Air fabric has a quality feel to it and resists signs of wear with ease. The baffle design on the Marmot bags is amazingly effective and the Paiju is no different. It certainly isn't the lightest weight sleeping bag at this -20°C temperature rating but is certainly feels tougher and more durable than many lighter bags. Having used this in tents, bothies and under tarps I think it's worth the weight.
