Infinity Series; Minimalist, ultralight pursuits.
The Infinty 300 is a super-lightweight sleeping bag filled with high quality Rab Fluorocarbon free Hydrophobic, 850 fill European goose down and using very light Pertex Quantum GL fabrics.
The Infinity 300 is a very lightweight sleeping bag offering very impressive weight to warmth ratios. Weighing in at just 650g and filled with 300g of high quality 850 fill power European goose down.
An all new Trapezoidal vertical baffle system with Flowgate technology that has been uniquely customised for Rab is used to provide very efficient warmth and the best possible use for the 850 fill European goose down that we use. The proportionally assigned differential cut means the down can loft to it`s full potential and it does visibly `rise` when you take the bag from the stuffsac. The superlight Pertex Quantum GL fabric allows the down to hug the body providing maximum levels of warmth and minimum `dead-space` in the bag.
The Infinity 300 is an ideal companion for anyone who wants maximum warmth for minimum weight whether for lightweight backpacking adventure racing mountain marathons or for very lightweight mountaineering expeditions.

This is a new class of bag for RAB lighter fabric and 850 Fill Power down rather than 800 this is directly reflected in the comfort ratings achieving a highly respectable -2C at an overall weight of 650g. Quantum GL fabric is translucent so you can actually see the spread of the down inside the baffles - any adverse down movement can be rectified easily because you can see what you`re doing!
To save weight the zipp isn`t quite full length but it does have opposing sliders so you can either vent from the top or the bottom.
Its a good product that challenges other high quality niche brands that we stock.
Storage at Ultralight Outdoor Gear Down sleeping bags should be stored loosely to preserve their insulative qualities therefore we store all our down bags in this way as recommended by RAB.

EN13537:2012 - Look for the 2012 label for the most accurate rating; In 2012 the EN system of testing sleeping bags was re-vamped - the new testing procedures are more rigorous, producing more consistent results than previous tests. 2012 results tend to rate sleeping bags as poorer performing by a few degrees when compared to previous test results, even though the sleeping bag may be identical, or even better.
This means that comparison between an EN13537:2012 rated bag and an EN13537:2002 rated bag are particularly difficult - our advice is to use the new EN13537:2012 rating to compare with other bags who have also been rated in this way.
