Mountain Equipment's Earthrise 400 Down Sleeping Bag has tremendous eco credentials with the shell, lining and down all 100% recycled. The bag uses the same construction as the best selling Helium range from Mountain Equipment.

Mountain Equipment says:

A lightweight and highly packable bag constructed from recycled fabrics and down. With sufficient warmth for cooler Spring nights or varied trips with periods at higher elevation it's a perfect choice for backpacking and cycle touring.

Mountain Equipment use their own 'Good Nights Sleep Guaranteed' rating which they believe is a more accurate number for some sleeping bags and is based not just on the EN test results but on lab testing, their own use, thermal imaging and cold chamber work, along with a lot of data analysis. The figure above is what they consider to be the lowest temperature that you will be comfortable at when using this bag.

Mountain Equipment's Earthrise 400 Down Sleeping Bag is constructed from almost 100% recycled materials (the shell lining and down is all recycled) whilst maintaining the quality you expect when designed by a company with the only person in the world with  PHD in down use for outdoor garments.

Mountain Equipment rate this bag with a Good nights sleep guarantee of -4°C. The inner is very soft to the touch and the box wall baffles eliminates any cold spots you get with a sewn through construction. The mummy fit maximises thermal efficiency but still leaves a little wriggle room.

The full length zip is 2 way for ease of venting and there is handy popper to keep the bag around your upper torso when unzipped. There is a side baffle along the zip to reduce heat loss. The supplied stuff sack is waterproof.
