Pillows

Pillows are tricky for backpackers and travellers, you can't exactly take the one from home, and with today's thick sleeping mats it needs to sit on top of your mat, but keeping it there can be a challenge. My solution is a small inflatable pillow that fits into the hood of my sleeping bag. If you want something bigger though its going to have to sit outside your sleeping bag and on your mattress, some people use low profile self adhesive velcro to keep the pillow in place.
