Montbell's Tyvek Sleeping Bag Cover is a great way of adding a layer of protection to your bag. Although the tyvek isn't fully waterproof it does a great job of keeping moisture off your bag whilst also being breathable enough to let out heat and moisture build up during the night. The tyvek material feels much softer and more comfortable than you'd expect and it certainly adds a significant amount of durability for your sleeping set up.

Weighing in at just 150g and compressing down to a decent size this is a great addition for keeping your sleeping bag in top condition for bivy and tarp trips.

Tyvek bag cover

I'm using this under a Gatewood cape in cold / damp to add warmth, stop drafts and keep my head and feet condensation free. Works very well, certainly adds warmth, reported weight is spot on. Only thing stopping it being perfect for me is that it's quite small. I'm 6 foot and fairly broad, and it's quite snug on the shoulders with not a lot of spare space at the top.
