A super comfortable pack for multi-day events where you need to pack more than usual. The huge capacity means this becomes a much more versatile pack and can be used as a hiking day pack along with running. Loaded with great features this is a well designed pack capable of working well in any environment.
Flagship of the Ultra range. The 20L Ultra Legend pack is your perfect partner for Stage and Adventure races. The ergonomics of the shoulder straps and back allow you to carry all of the required equipment over several days of racing while maintaining maximum comfort.
* Please note - Pack does not come with water bottles shown in images.
Raidlight's Ultra Legend 20L Pack is designed for hauling large amounts of kit when undertaking big events like multi-day events, unsupported Ultras in challenging conditions. It can also be used as a day pack for hiking and works particularly well in warmer conditions. Despite the large capacity and the amount of weight the pack can carry it is still really comfortable. With even more foam reinforcements in the shoulders and new 3D Air-mesh back the pack is comfortable even when full. There are numerous adjustments that can be made in order to get the best no-bounce fit including a soft, covered waist belt - although the buckle did sit close to my left hip and wasn't great.
With two deceptively big mesh pockets on the side of the bag accessible from the above or round the side, you won't have to remove your bag to access the equipment. There is an additional large pocket on the rear of the bag too for other kit you need less access to. With numerous pockets and a 20L main compartment it provides almost endless storage options. My favourite part of this pack is the pole holder across the chest. It looks awkward but works perfectly and makes it so much easier getting your poles out and packing them away while running. I haven't found another pack that you can do this without stopping and usually taking the pack off. The set up does mean that you really need to be using hard bottles rather than soft flasks which never bothered me.
