Exped's Transit packs are packed with useful features including hide-away shoulder straps, large zip pulls, compression straps and useful pockets/organisers.
Exped says: Travel multi-talent. The Transit is a tough and lightweight backpack/duffle bag hybrid in a clean and timeless design which offers easy access to contents through its long zipper opening.
The contoured shoulder straps can easily be mounted or stored depending on whether you need a backpack or duffle bag. Mesh sleeves on the inside and 2 zipper pockets on the outside make organizing contents simple.
This versatile bag is perfect for travel, leisure or sports or just take it to the next climbing gym.
Exped's Transit 60 Pack/Duffle is really nice! As a duffle bag it's got two external flat pockets for small stuff and all the zip pulls are chunky and easy to get hold of. There's a cross ways compression strap to keep your load in place and at each end of the main zip there's a stylish metal ring for a shoulder strap - though it doesn't come with one.
Inside the features go on - down each side there are mesh organiser pockets and at one end there are three climbing style loops for securing stuff - or hanging stuff onto. Not sure these are particularly useful unless you are using this for trips to the climbing wall/crag - in which case they are exactly what you need to keep your slings and nuts in order.
Externally the shoulder straps hook on and off their loops very easily and there is a chest strap fitted. There's a lot of thought gone into the Transit and we like it.
