The Sawbill 20 day pack from Granite Gear is really useful and light-weight little day pack with some great features. The cinch closure is super quick and easy at the cost of protection from the elements.

Our Verdict
Granite Gear's Sawbill 20 is a great little light-weight day pack that take a lot of abuse thanks to the 100 denier nylon fabric. A perfect general every day pack but thanks to its low weight it can be taken on long trips to be used on excursions away your basecamp.
Despite the low weight the Sawbill has a lot of useful features. Inside the pack is a hydration pouch which can of course just be used a pocket to separate valuables and other items you might want to access in a hurry. There is a large mesh pocket on the front as well as 2 daisy chains so other items can be clipped to the outside of the bag.
The shoulder straps use breathable mesh panels and there is a small chest strap for additional support. The cinch closure is super quick and easy but despite a small flap still leaves the contents of the bag more exposed to the elements than with a zip or roll top closure.
