Terra Nova's Laser 10 hydration pack is very stable and fits close into the body with 6 external pockets and enough capacity for an ultralight day out.
Terra Nova says:
A lightweight slim line 10 litre pack suitable for cycling or longer duration runs. With internal pocket and access point on each shoulder for a hydration bladder. Full length zip, padded back and shoulder straps and adjustable chest strap incorporating a whistle. Plenty of easy access storage with two outer pockets on the back and on the front straps plus zip pockets in the hip belt and compression cords.
Terra Nova's Laser 10 pack is a simple pack but highly functional, the back system wraps very neatly around the body and the load is kept close, making it an extremely stable carry. A thin foam pad protects your back from the contents and there 4 external pockets to stash stuff (including hip belt pockets) plus two on the straps.
Access to the main compartment is via an offset zip, inside is a full bladder pocket with alternate side tube exit ports. We think 10 litres seems optimistic for the capacity but there's still enough room to stash ultralight day requirements. Full marks to Terra Nova for producing a really nice hydration running pack.
