A lightweight active day-pack with plenty of pockets and attachment points that make this a go-to rucksack for climbing/scrambling/mountain biking days.
Outdoor Research says:
Building on the ultralight of our Isolation Pack LT, the Isolation Pack HD adds exterior water bottle pockets, a hipbelt, and a zippered lid, making it a more featured day hiking pack and boosting it's capacity to 19 liters - ideal for a couple of layers, food, and water on a 14er hiker or a laptop and a lunch for a bike commute accross town. And it's still small and light enough to take along in an overnight pack to use for day excursions for base camp.

Outdoor Research's Isolation Pack HD has quite a lot of useful features for such a small and lightweight pack. 4 pockets, a hipbelt, wide shoulder straps, daisy chain running down the pack, all of these things are well thought up and work well on the pack. The crinkly foam back adds a degree of comfort and extra airflow around your back but it's not revolutionary. Overall the pack is a perfect day-pack when you're doing something active like scrambling, climbing, mountain biking etc.
