The ultimate companion for city breaks and stops in town, the Vagabond Packable is the perfect daypack to keep in your larger pack for short, spontaneous excursions. Managing to compress all the features of the popular Vagabond pack into a truly tiny stuff sack, this is an excellent addition for any extended trip.
Gossamer Gear says:
A packable and ultralight version of the prized Vagabond. Simplified for travel, summit scrambles, and quick "missions" to the local bouldering spot, as the kids say.

Gossamer Gear's Vagabond Packable Daypack is an impressive piece of kit, and is ideal for longer treks where a rest day may take you into town to resupply. Almost identical to the popular Vagabond Daypack, the Vagabond Packable retains the functional versatility of its bigger brother while keeping the weight low and the pack size small. There are three large stretch drop pockets across the pack, perfect for water bottles, maps, and waterproof layers that you’ll need close to hand, while daisy chains running the length of the pack body add in a creative variety of ways to expand the carrying potential of the Vagabond. The two haul handles at the top of the pack are a practical and stylish addition, while a small zipped essentials pocket at the top of the pack adds to the storage options while also doubling as the stuff sack.
Constructed from Gossamer Gear’s own Robic nylon, the Vagabond Packable is a surprisingly durable, given its low weight. The construction is burly where it matters, with tough webbing joining the straps to the pack body complemented by double-thickness material on the back to provide a modicum of comfort. The versatility of the Vagabond packable is emphasised by the two compression straps that also provide extra lashing points, and the addition of loops through which a hip belt could be attached. All told, this is an essential piece of luxury for the experienced trekker on an extended trip.
