The collapsible feature makes it much more packable taking up less room in your rucksack or less to bounce around if hanging on the outside soaking up the sun. A few quick breaths and its inflated with up to 300 lumens of soft ambient light at your disposal. There are 3 levels of brightness and the obligatory flashing light.
