GSI Outdoors's Halulite Minimalist Solo Backpacking Cookset is the peak of reductive efficiency, the Minimalist has no handles to hack off, no bowls to leave behind and no coatings to add extra fuss or weight, Quite simply, the Minimalist is as close as you can come to carrying nothing while still bringing everything you need. The Minialist: beyond fast + light, beyond belief.
GSI Outdoors says:
The Halulite Minimalist is simply the redefinition of ultralight, ultra-minimal cooking and eating. The 0.6 L hard anodized pot is designed around a 110 g fuel canister and micro stove (not included) combined with a pot cover which flips to become a sip top and insulated sleeve for drinking.
A great piece of kit from GSI if you intend living off freeze dried meals. They only require hot water to be poured onto the ingredients to reconstitute the meal.
Using the Halulite Minimalist kit is ideal for this application because you can boil the water for the meal then boil some more for your tea or coffee. Then the pot slips into its insulating cosy and you fit the inverted lid to keep your drink hot and sip it without spilling or burning your lips on a metal pot.
The pot is the ideal fit for a Nalgene 1L water bottle.
Superb then for fast and light trips of one or more nights. Don`t forget 172g includes everything you need. A 100g fuel cansiter fits inside the pot with space for most foldable stoves. The only niggle we`ve found is that the included Spork is not long enough to eat from a bag without getting food on your fingers - buy a long handled spoon as well.

Halulite says goodbye to scratches, burn circles and ounces.
As light as Titanium, Halulite is a proprietary alloy that also conducts heat better and more evenly—so you can leave the extra fuel at home. Plus every piece is Hard Anodized to create a surface that withstands scratches and abrasions like nothing else.
It`s ultra light without the sacrifices. Now that`s smart.
