Kahtoola's Microspikes Lightweight Trail Crampons can be fitted to any footwear because of the chain link construction and stretch fit rubber rand. Solid and well performing

Kahtoola may not be the cheapest, but they work very well.

These can fit over big hiking boots, and also trail runners and trainers without any discomfort or loss in performance.

What price a broken leg?

Not the cheapest, but how much is the price of a broken leg? One of my Finnish friends broke her leg on wet ice and if she can do it so can I. (and you )These are not like crampons and are not for the same use, but for around town and on the hills in icy conditions nothing else comes near. They are easy on, easy off, once you get the hang of it. We use them around town in wet icy conditions, and just hook 'em on our packs when in the shops. They are also very capable of hill walking or running and you won't lose them in deep snow. Worth every euro, pound ,dollar krona or what ever.I've tried the competition, and nothing else comes close in terms of ease of use and grip.
