Tame the terrain with our Women's Trek Gaiter. With tough waterproof fabrics and close-fitting construction, it provides reliable protection against every form of mountain hazard, from rocks, thorns and streams to snow, ice and mud.
When you head into the mountains, you often have to negotiate tricky, wet and uneven ground before you even reach your starting point. Built from tough but breathable 70D ripstop nylon, our new Women’s Trek Gaiter is built to keep you comfortable from the first step to the last. It uses an adjustable underfoot strap, an elasticated ankle, a hook-and-loop front closure and an adjustable upper drawcord to prevent stones, dirt and water from encroaching on your boots and pant legs. It also comes with a trekking boot-optimised cut, plus a waterproof DWR coating and 200D ankle reinforcements for increased resistance against the various impacts and abrasions of high-energy mountain sport.
Whether hiking through cold winter powder, muddy spring melt-water or overgrown trails, our no-nonsense Women’s Trek Gaiter will keep you dry, comfortable and secure.

Rab's Womens Trek Gaiters use a combination of 70D and 200D fabric to provide a highly durable, lightweight and waterproof package. These gaiters use lighter weight fabrics than others but the 200D reinforcements around the ankles are certainly durable enough to use with crampons in winter. Using alternative, own brand waterproof fabrics help keep these gaiters well priced without sacrificing performance.
For such a light weight gaiter there is no lack of features. The solid Velcro closure is made more secure with a popper at the top while an elasticated strip around the ankle, elasticated drawcord around the top and a durable hook for the laces ensure they stay in place once you've put them on. The thick, durable strap that runs under the boot is great quality and has certainly worn well with regular use.
