A lightweight Gore-Tex walking boot with a focus on comfort. With a comfortable inner sole, a great amount of grip on the outer sole and plenty of reinforcements around it these are go-anywhere boots that are still comfortable at the end of a hard day.
Super-lightweight and comfortable multifunctional boot designed to protect the ankle and provide effective support in pathless terrain. Abrasion-proof 3D textile reinforced with TPU hybrid shell and 360 heel support offer a light weight combined with high protection and durability. Together with the effective damping effect of the EVA-IP wedge, the patented Rolling Concept and base cage support the natural sequence of movement with cushioning and support over the longitudinal and transverse arch of the foot. With its two rubber blends of varying softness, the gripex Tri Traction sole provides rounded grip, a light weight and efficient self-cleaning. Memo foam, an elastic Gore-Tex tongue construction and the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear membrane ensure high comfort inside.
Mammut's T Aenergy Mid GTX Trekking Shoe is a lightweight off-road shoe offering with a strong emphasis on comfort. With waterproofing provided by Gore you can be sure they will keep your feet dry. The inner sole has memory style foam to get the best fit for your foot while the outer sole provides a good amount of grip and uses Mammut's rolling concept to encourage a natural motion when walking. They certainly are a comfortable pair of shoes to wear whether it's a short stroll or a serious day hiking.
Although these boots are designed for 'pathless terrain' they are still more suited to trails and tracks through lowlands and hills. They don't really provide the level of support I want on more technical terrain over long distances but are still really comfortable on long days out walking.
