Rab's Down Slippers use 650+ fill, duck down, and have a Pertex Quantum outer which makes them nice and warm.

These slippers are quick and easy to pull on and warm you straight away. They soles are made with tough nylon and grippy silicone so they are durable and practical. Internally the soles are super soft and comfy but I don't know how long they'd stay that way as the padding feels like it squashes down a bit after your first use. Otherwise they are really comfortable to wear around camp or even around the house.

Rab Down Slipper Review

Having previously owned the Hut Slipper, I was curious to try the RAB Down Slipper. There are clear differences between the two products, and I am happy to have swapped to the Down Slipper. I am not going to list the product specifications as these can be found on the website, and are all accurate. Rather, I want to focus on the feel of the slipper.
The best feature of the slipper is that it envelopes your foot, with a stretchy opening that closes around your ankle and shin. This means that the slipper NEVER falls off your foot, especially when ascending and descending the stairs.
The 650 power fill, is insulating, without being suffocating. The lightweight nature of the slipper and foldable sole makes them ideal to be thrown in the top of your backpack when heading out into the wilderness for an overnight adventure. Although the base is made of a durable non-slip nylon sole with grippy silicone traction, I wouldn’t wear them out of the tent too much, as it will cause inevitable wear, and I want to extent the life of these slippers for as long as possible.
Due to the current lockdown I have not been able to venture any further than a back garden bivvy, but even then, these slippers were a very welcome addition, and before I was ready to get into my full body sleeping bag, my feet had their own little cocoon for the whole evening. When these eventually wear out, I will be buying them again without hesitation. Lastly, and not particularly technical, but I also love the colour.
I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting a high quality, comfortable, and lightweight slipper. RAB have delivered again.
