A hearty British breakfast of potato and pork baked with three types of beans in a tomato sauce.
FIREPOT says:
We wanted our breakfast to be worth getting up for — delicious low-fat British pork mince, three kinds of beans and crisp potatoes, all in a dark and sticky tomato sauce. With the heat of tabasco and a zing of fresh ginger, this is our twist on the classic Full English. This is a hearty and warming breakfast for the days when only a taste of home will do. Children also love it, making this a firm family favourite in FIREPOT's Dorset kitchen.
FIREPOT use high-quality natural ingredients and slow cook them in small batches. There is no freeze-drying involved, no preservatives, and no ingredients you won't recognise. And not only does their food taste good, but it’s exactly what you need to fuel any adventure. Nutritious, delicious and simple to make.
STAFF'S TASTE TEST - At first glance the Posh Pork and Beans looked a little watery - though adding less water may solve that. Flavour wise it was a little bland but you do get a very sweet after taste. We noticed the beans were a little on the crunchy side, but after leaving them for a little while longer than stated they became softer. An Optimus Pot Cozy would help resolve this. An overall nice breakfast with a generous portion size.
This one didn't work for me unfortunately. I added water up to the fill line indicated by the instructions but this seemed to be nowhere near the 350ml also recommended - I still had loads of water left in my Jetboil. I added some more water and left it quite a while and ended up with a curious mixture which looked nothing like the picture - the potato pieces and pork were mushy whereas some of the beans were still absolutely rock hard. This was the first camp meal ever that I've not been able to stomach so I ended up carrying a 3/4 full packet around the hills with me all day.

Proper tasty
A good hearty breakfast. Still quite a newbie with dehydrated food but this was great. Good mix of beans and pork.
