STAFF'S TASTE TEST - The Porridge with Blueberries is an interesting one which split our staff on the taste test. Some loved the thick consistency while it put others off. It is a very sweet meal but people generally liked the flavour with the blueberries tasting genuine too. This certainly has a unique look to it after it's been stirred for a while, leaving you looking into an interesting purple meal.

Tastes great!
The Porridge dishes from Expedition Foods get high marks from me when it comes to scoring on taste. Providing you add the right amount of water, then this camp food is no different to a pot of porridge you would make in your own kitchen at home. The texture and the sweetness was just right as it rehydrated thoroughly and it was perfect for warming me up on a cold morning in camp. One thing to consider is that it does cool down quite quickly so it's worth wrapping it up in a pot cosy or a your down jacket whilst it rehydrates. I struggled to eat all of this packet but I'm not one for having huge breakfasts. It kept me full until lunch which is what these packs are all about.
