Our tomato soup is a classic with a small touch of fantasy. It has been tested for a long time and cooked again and again to find that unique note in the taste. The little secret is roasting red peppers together with tomatoes just before cooking. We won't tell you the big secret, but the creamy texture of the soup and complementing it with rice should satisfy every hungry amateur of this taste.
We are cooking before freeze-drying. In our pouches there are no artificial additives, no extra sugar, no palm oil and no preservatives! Our soups are made from 100% natural ingredients and some of them are growing on our own fields.
LYO have tried to take a different route with their meals focussing on natural, fresh ingredients and no preservatives or artificial additives. They proudly cultivate some of the fruits and herbs on their own fields. Other fruits and herbs as well as vegetables come from farmers known to them personally. All ingredients are carefully verified to ensure that their products meet the highest quality standards.
The majority of the meals use interesting combinations of natural ingredients with chunky vegetables, authentic flavours and more of a home cooked approach. We’ve been lucky enough to test a variety of them and have always been impressed with the end results. Generally, we appreciated the good combinations of flavour, texture and portion size.
The fill line for adding water to the packs is novel with a blue area from the bottom showing how much water is required. It is quite a subtle design feature that can be easy to miss and some form of internal indicator would be best but it still works.
