Preparation:Remove the oxygen absorber (sachet) from inside the pouch. Add 250ml of boiling water, stir the contents, and then close the bag and wait 5-8 minutes for the food to re-hydrate.
Cold water will suffice in an emergency, however the re-hydration time is much longer. The oxygen absorber helps maintain product freshness and is non toxic. Do not eat.

If you don’t normally have a starter try a cup-a-soup with crackers to boost the meal. I added 250ml boiling water and resealed the bag – left it wrapped in a down jacket for the full time specified. Delicious! Could have been more meaty or tomato flavour – but very tasty and well constituted.|
