For some serious storage capacity for your next bikepacking trip the Trailfront delivers. It's durable, practical and easy to use which is perfect after long days in the saddle. The two section design makes it easy to set up, use and make it much more versatile than many other handlebar packs.
Quench your thirst for adventure! Love sleeping outdoors and discovering the world on 2 wheels? With this waterproof handlebar roll made from welded, PVC-free materials, you and your friends will no know limits. This 19-l packsack is easily accessible from both sides and an excellent choice for light gear like a thermal mat and sleeping bag. A practical feature: a strap for carrying the Trailfront over your shoulder. Flexible compression straps keeps things secure while you're riding. You can also attach more gear or even a tent using the exterior pack straps. The frame construction is easy to attach to your handle bar. Attachment is width adjustable and a practical spacer ensures you'll always have enough room for braking and shifting. This product is made with Eco Finish, an eco-friendly, fluorocarbon-free, water-repellent finish (PFC-free). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
Vaude's Trailfront Handlebar Pack is big enough to use on its own or as part of a bigger pack set up for more serious trips. With 19L of versatile space the Trailfront provides all the space you need for your biggest piece of kit for epic bikepacking trips. It's perfect for a tent, stove, spare clothes (depending on how well you can pack!) and the fact that it's waterproof is great. The final attachment goes at the bottom of the head tube, pretty much around the head set. I'm dubious over the durability of this one aspect as it is low enough to take all the friction from steering and as it is a material strap it may fray over time. No part of the pack has shown any signs of wear and tear so far though.
The handlebar roll and dry bag are separate so you don't have to attach and remove the hole thing each time you need it. Given that they are separate it's a bonus that you can use pretty much any roll top closing waterproof bag in it. The drybag provided is the right shape for the frame but I've used other bags that I can compress and fit more in when packing for longer trips.
