The Chair Zero is the lightest and most compact Helinox chair to date. It may be low to the ground but its only 488grams, that's carry-able, even on backpacking trips.

Helinox says:

The Newest, The Lightest and Most Compact Helinox Chair, but still strong enough for the perfect adventure experience. Only 490g (without packing case), Capacity 120kg.

Helinox's Chair Zero is fantastic because its a fully supportive chair that's only 488grams, that's even lighter than Helinox's Ground Chair!  On a long hike a chair that will support your back is a real luxury, and will be worth carrying. It also packs down really small so you can fit it in your pack easily.

If you found that the Helinox Chair One was too low to the ground for you then maybe this isn't the chair for you, it's a little lower than the Chair One. If I was buying a chair for base camp use I'd choose one of the models with longer legs.

NOT as low as the ground chair

Awesome kit. UOG says its lower than the Ground Chair. It isn't. Its a little lower than the One Chair, but higher than the Ground Chair. But lighter than the Ground . Its barely heavier than some of the chair kits that convert a mattress to a chair. But this you can actually get our for a lunch stop, goes together in 30 seconds

Tested on an expedition down the Ganges

There is no chair like it.

This piece of kit weighs next to nothing for a chair that lifts you of the ground. I was initially dubois about it thinking I would be too low to the ground but it is easy for me to get out of, even when tired.

It's really quick and simple to rig, and very comfortable for sit in for hours. On our journey down the length of the Ganges by stand-up paddleboard (www.gangessup.org) I looked forward to relaxing in this after a full day standing, and my team mates were envious.

If you are ever going to use it on softer surfaces like sand and mud I recommend you also get the Hellinox Ground Sheet. Otherwise a leg will dig deep and you'll fall backwards!
