Customer Service and Warranty Administrator

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service and Warranty Administrator to join our growing team based in the North East of England. There is a dual focus split between the customer service and business administration elements of the organisation. The post holder will be part of the Customer Service, Showroom and Administration Team, contributing to the day to day working and efficiency of the department.

The customer service element of the role requires the post holder to be the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email. The warranty part of the role involves processing claims, playing a key role in the relationship between the company, customers and suppliers and manufacturers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolving customer issues
  • Help customers with product choice via phone calls and email.
  • Assist customers in our showroom with product choice and queries.
  • Answering general enquiries such as stock, sizing, price, availability etc.
  • Processing warranty claims
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding warranty issues and status of claims
  • Liaising with the Customer Service Team Manager and Team Leader in order to contribute to the efficiency of the Customer Service Department
  • The post holder may also be required to work in other departments from time to time.

Essential Requirements

  • Articulate with excellent written and oral skill
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • IT literate including good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Willingness to learn
  • Extremely organised with a high attention to detail
  • Patience and an empathy with customer's needs
  • Experience of working within a team environment
  • Good knowledge of outdoor clothing and equipment and their technologies and passion for the outdoors and the outdoors industry.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience within a mail order business
  • Working within a customer service team
  • Familiar with accounting processes within a business environment

Working Relationships

Accountable to: Customer Service Manager and Team Leader

Liaises with: Customer Service Team

Position

Permanent: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £21,945 per year

Location: Wynyard, Billingham

Working Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday with a one in five Sunday rota

Working Hours: Tuesday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm, Saturday: 8am - 4pm

Digital Marketing Executive

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team based in the North East of England. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the retail website, including but not limited to, identifying opportunities from website analytics data, executing SEO campaigns & managing paid online advertising. The Post Holder will work under the direction of the Core Operations Manager but also under his/her own initiative to ensure the website is functioning well, is accurate and is appealing.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

  1. Implement content pages utilising the full ability of the website platform to engage customers and promote conversions.
  2. Executing SEO campaigns developed in conjunction with your line manager.
  3. Utilising Google Analytics to explore and suggest potential areas of the website to focus resources.
  4. Upkeeping our Google Ads accounts including adding negative keywords to campaigns and reporting on performance and opportunities.
  5. Implement & keep up-to-date automated email marketing flows.
  6. Refresh presentation of Brands annually.
  7. Contribute to sales initiatives across web, Facebook and e-mail marketing.
  8. Work as part of the Marketing Team to maximise sales through promotion.
  9. Assist with online marketing campaigns.
  10. Write independent reviews.
  11. Contribute to the completion of “Our Verdicts” each season.
  12. Create content that can be used across our different outlets e.g. Blog, social media, YouTube.
  13. Complete other tasks, projects and initiatives under direction.

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team based in the North East of England. There is a dual focus split between the customer service and business administration elements of the organisation. The post holder will be part of the Customer Service, Showroom and Administration Team, contributing to the day to day working and efficiency of the department and the business.

The customer service element of the role requires the post holder to be the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email. The Business Administration part of the role involves maintaining financial records and back-end functions, such as processing refunds and customer orders to ensure accuracy and consistency across all aspects of the role.
