The 32 Degree Insulated Half Zip is a warm and breathable mid layer with zoned insulation across the chest and shoulders. An ideal layer for skiing/snowboarding, hiking and running.
Mountain Hardwear says:
A technical mid-layer with great stretch and zoned insulation that maintains warmth at the core. Perfect for excursions in the backcountry or cross-country skiing.
Mountain Hardwear's 32 Degree Insulated Half Zip is basically a warm stretchy fleece with a small area of Thermal.Q Elite insulation across the chest and shoulders. The inside of the fleece is really soft, where as the outside has a smoother face. This is usually to prevent the fleece from pilling and it also makes it more comfortable to layer.
In terms of features it's pretty simple. There are no pockets but it does have thumb loops which will prevent the sleeves from riding up. It also has reflective details on the end of the sleeves.
It's fabrics and feature set make it an ideal layer for a cold evening run.
