The Jetboil Joule is a high volume cooking system that is designed for multiple people in alpine or cold weather conditions. The inverted fuel can and liquid feed regulator are particularly suited to perform in cold weather while boiling larger volumes.
Jetboil says: Our AWARD WINNING group cooking system, providing Liquid Fuel Performance, with Canister Fuel Convenience!!
The Joule is perfect for backpacking groups and alpinists. It offers consistent heat output down to 10°F/-12°C thanks to a proprietary regulator technology. It’s inverted fuel can and liquid feed regulator provide the performance of a liquid/multi fuel stove but with the ease of use and versatility of a canister system. Setup and reliability are improved over liquid/multi fuel stoves which require significant assembly and priming before use. Joule’s 10,000 BTU burner provides the raw power for rapid boil times yet still offers excellent simmer control for cooking. Combined with a 2.5L insulated FluxRing® vessel, Joule offers fuel efficiency, portability, easy setup, and the reliability you expect from Jetboil.
Jetboil Joule Cooking System combines everything you need to heat up your meals in more extreme cold weather conditions in one compact package. The trick to the Jetboil Joule's performance is coupling the inverted fuel can and liquid feed regulator with the flux ring technology which drastically reduces boil times, saving fuel and feeding you faster.
The stove and pan create a single integrated unit when connected, taking away from the usual assembly issues for stoves, and the reliable push button ignition further simplifies things. The large capacity make it great for small groups cooking together or a few people melting snow and the addition of the insulating sleeve provides a secure grip. There is a strong and safe locking handle that can take the extra weight from the 2.5L pot and then it can be folded over to keep it all compact. The lid is see through so you can easily check on the progress of your meal without heat escaping, wasting more time and fuel.
