When you stop sweating, the specially designed system provides optimum insulation against the cold. At the ears, a honeycomb structure is used to ensure that this sensitive area is kept warm without impairing hearing.
During recovery cold ambient air represents no overcooling risk factor, because the warm air inside the InnerAirChannels form an insulating cushion. During recovery, the cooling down process is interrupted by the lack of sweat. The air in both channles serves to warm and protect, using the body's own warmth to create a body aura: a protective shell that wards off the influence of cold. The 3D-BionocSphere System begins warming when sweat is absent.
During activity sweat forms a line of moisture on the skin. Drops are absorbed by the SweatTraps and conducted into the Evaporation Surface Expander. The evaporation occurs in three ways, activated by body heat; On the skin for cooling, In the SweatTraps to process excess moisture, and in the Evaporation Surface Expander where the excess is finally evaporated.
SkinNODOR Technology
The gradual release of ions, which are activated by body heat, is the key to the effectiveness of SkinNODOR. These ions inhibit the growth of microorganisms rather than eliminating them outright, thus preserving the delicate balance of the skin's ecosystem. In other words, SkinNODOR is microbacteriostatic (i.e. it inhibits microbacterial growth), rather than bactericidal (bacteria-killing). Therefore allergic reactions do not occur. SkinNODOR is especially soft and breathable and provides superior fit.

Don't waste a drop: sweat is too precious to dispose of completely. The skin requires a certain level of moisture in order to cool down. Evaporation cooling only starts to drive the body temperature down when moisture on the skin evaporates. Conventional functional underwear design has tended to ignore this vital fact by absorbing moisture completely and keeping the body as dry as possible. Big Mistake. Dry skin may feel good, but it lacks the ability to cool naturally.

Skin NODOR®
Skin NODOR® is a particularly soft new yarn with exceptional temperatureoptimizing properties. It features a polymeric matrix incorporating a bacteriostatic agent that will not transfer to the skin.
Excessive growth of bacteria on the skin and in clothing can cause unpleasant odor. Skin NODOR® helps maintain the skin's natural bacterial environment, i.e., Skin NODOR® has a bacteriostatic effect. Skin NODOR® works thanks to the continual reaction of ions within the fiber. This effectively inhibits the activity of microorganisms responsible for the build-up of bacteria and odor.
The unique bacteriostatic ingredient in the polymer matrix prevents allergic reactions. It is an integral component of the fiber rather than merely coating the surface, meaning the ingredient is not transferred to the skin.
Skin NODOR® is an especially robust and long-wearing fabric that offers protection from microbial contamination. Even after repeated washing, it does not lose its bacteriostatic properties, retaining them for the entire life of the item of clothing.
Skin NODOR® incorporates a special inorganic, anti-bacterial ingredient. This feature effectively retards the growth of the two most important types of bacteria: Gram-positive (Staphylococcus Aureus) and Gram-negative (K. Pneumonia). Because Skin NODOR® is not bactericidal (i.e. it doesn’t kill bacteria), it does not destroy the natural bacterial environment of healthy skin.
