A new lighter version of the popular nail stake. The nail stake UL can be driven into hard soil without fear of bending or damaging the head of the stake (unlike conventional stakes).
Our Verdict
We offer two Nail pegs from Vargo Titanium, both are 6 inches long and both come pre-threaded with cord to make them easy to find in the grass and easy to pull out. The 'Ultralight Nail peg' is 9g compared to the 'Nail peg' which is 15g, the latter is a beast of a peg made from 4mm diameter titanium wire. The ultralight version is thinner, at 3mm, but being titanium will deal with the vast majority of tricky ground.
