The new range of Terra Nova lightweight packs is led by the Laser 20L daypack, which enters a competative market to become the lightest fully featured pack of it's size currently available. Our extensive knowledge and development of lightweight materials and design has led us to produce a day pack with a full length water resistant zip, exterior mesh pockets, hip storage, removable chest strap/whistle and front compression cords, all at an incredible 328g!
Designed for lightweight day use, adventure races and mountain biking the Laser 20L and our Laser Photon tent have a combined minimun weight of only 1.09kg!
Our Verdict
Well thought out and designed. Made from very lightweight nylon ripstop the laser has a lot of features to commend it. Not mentioned in the blurb is the reinforced base of the pack, carry strap, internal key attachment - high visibility rear light attachment and hydration tube guides on the straps.
Internally there's a large bladder pouch with an exit port on each side, you could slip a thin sheet of foam in here as well to improve the padding on the back - which is very minimal.
Superb range of features on a pack this light.
