Sunday Afternoons has taken design cues from the traditionally popular ‘Booney’ hat and added our signature lightweight comfort and sun protection to create the best selling Cruiser Hat.

The Cruiser is the perfect hat for the person who likes the look a traditional hat, but insists on daylong comfort for maximum-advantage sun protection. At the club, on the river, or in the backwoods this hat will deliver the skin protection you need.
The Cruiser Hat’s spiral stitched foam core brim - 3" front and sides, 4" back offers ample solar coverage. Ultra comfortable new integrated wicking sweatband keeps you dry under extreme conditions. Crown ventilation will keep you cool while elasticized rear sizing cord and chinstrap holds hat in place when the wind picks up. Packs flat. UPF 50+.

Our Verdict
Sunday Afternoons hats offer incredible performance! We don't say that lightly, Sunday Afternoons are committed to designing headgear that protect the wearer from the Sun and they achieve this in spades. The protection they offer is invaluable.
I wore the Adventure Hat for the first time while trekking last year, I normally get a sunburned face, nose and ears in the first day or so of a walk - this is because I'm usually a bit slow at putting the lotion on - and the run-of-the-mill hats you can get don't achieve full protection.
Last year, due to the Adventure hat, I didn't get sunburned at all! The hat performed superbly.
The Cruiser hat has a nice wide brim which takes care of the sun protection, its well-constructed and the brim is wired, this means its not crushable. The chin cord is fixed but can be snipped off if desired - the hat is quite deep so providing you get the correct size it won't blow off in any but the strongest winds.
