Our Verdict
This garment is a real treat - it has 10g less down than the Neutrino Endurance but is considerably lighter and stuffed with slightly higher quality down. The square baffles keep the down in place more effectively than tubes.
The hood design round the face is excellent because it stops the hood falling forward and obscuring your peripheral vision.
The only thing it doesn't offer is the water resistance that you get with the classic Neutrino Endurance. But if you're looking for a packable jacket with a high degree of insulation for camp use then this is a high quality, very light choice.
RAB Infinity Jacket versus Rab Infinity Endurance Jacket - The Infinity jacket is about 2oz lighter than the Endurance version so its the ultralight/performance choice. The Endurance fabric however is slightly more hardwearing and has a better DWR performance, it also has a matt finish - some customers don't like the shiny fabric of the standard version. Finally the Endurance version has an extra small chest pocket.
