Tough winter softshell making use of Polartec Power Shield Pro fabric but this time with a hi-pile grid backed version - basically it's got thick, fluffy fleece on the inside!

The Baltoro Guide Pro features contrast panels of hi-loft and mid weight velour backed panels to ensure the best possible breathability combined with fantastic protection and warmth. The Baltoro Guide is aimed squarely at climbers but also works very well as a winter hill and mountain walking jacket.

Our Verdict

I've got the previous Baltoro Guide jacket and I love it - like the Baltoro Guide Pro its too heavy for backpacking but perfect for everything else in Winter. The Power Shield Pro fabric feels very comfortable and the fleece inside is luxurious. The hood is excellent and its simply a quality garment - I use mine constantly for winter walking.
