Our Verdict
If you've ever carried an ultralight / no frills rucksack and thought 'it wouldn't have added much weight to add a buckle here or feature there', than OMM packs could be for you. Their mission appears to be to create lightweight packs stacked with lightweight features, and just how many features you want they leave up to you.
At 35 Litres the JIRISHANCA is ideal for ultralight backpacking, the OTMA (On The Move Accessibility - to use OMMs jargon) supports its use.
We like the MSC (Multi Sport Compressor), because its not just one piece of kit, firstly it can be used to compress the pack into the back, secondly to attach anything from a bulky helmet ot a wet tent securely to the outside of the pack, and as if this wasn't enough it incorporates a zipped mesh pocket that would take smaller items such as wet gloves.
The hip belt pockets are generous and bellowed so that they are not affected by the belt being worn tightly.

Leanweight (i.e. minimum weight) of pack is 675g but thats if you permanently remove the side mesh pockets. Without these removed the minimum weight is around 750g
