OMM Adventure Light 20L
Our Verdict
The Adventure Light has many of the features of the other packs in the OMM range but is made with lighter fabric. The only compromise is therefore durablity over its heavier stable-mates.
The main photograph shows the pack in its cleanest form, but when fitted with the mesh adjustable front panel and the shockcord carry system on the front its flexibility becomes apparent, see additional photos.
The two mesh pockets are designed to take the OMM drinks bottle which fit in very neatly, one on either side of the main compartment. Other makes may be too big so if this feature appeals invest in the OMM bottle(s) as well, each bottle is 500ml capacity.
The back panel has a removable foam pad inside which can be replaced by the Duomat 45 - this makes sense as a main sleeping mat but also if you carry a short self inflating mat the Duomat can go beneath your legs where insulation is benefical but padding is not essential.
20 Litres for a backpacking rucksack may be a bit of a challenge for many people - though don't forget you can add 4 L with the Trio Chest pouch.
