MSR Twing
Our ultralight maximum-coverage tarp shelter comfortably accommodates two plus gear, and weighs less than 2 lbs. (.9kg). Constructed of ultralight, taped silnylon, the Twing shelter offers excellent protection and ventilation on ultralight alpine trips or minimalist backpacks.
Our Verdict
This is a great tarp for two reasons, first is its size, big enough to provide acres of useable space, and second; its designed to be sealed off at one end providing protection from the elements. If you are travelling to a warm climate this summer this could be your ideal shelter - open enough to let you sleep in comfort but able to shelter you from that occasional thunderstorm.
