Our Verdict
We debated whether a skillet was just a frying pan - but it isn't - you can use it as a frying pan, and lets face it the frying pan you take camping needs to be non-stick even more than light weight. But being a deep pan with vertical sides it can also be used to cook a variety of meals - you can fashion a lid from tin foil etc and use it to boil stuff - or you can slow cook a stew.
All in all pretty flexible piece of kit - you need a stove with a wide burner though - otherwise the sides will be cool and the centre will be mad-hot.
